Information you give us

When you inquire, request our pricing guide, message us through the chat window on this site, book a tour, or contact us as a vendor, we collect the details you choose to give us — your name, email address, mobile number, and information about your event, such as your preferred date, your guest count, and which setting you have in mind. If you use the chat window, we also keep the messages you send.

Information collected when you browse

Like most websites, this one uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, some of them provided by other companies. When you visit, they can record the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, from a search or an ad), your device and browser type, your approximate location based on your IP address, and when you visited. We use them for four things:

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google uses this information as described inHow Google uses information from sites that use its services. We also use a product analytics service that records which pages are visited and which buttons and forms are used, so we can see which parts of the site help couples plan. On the pricing guide, contact and thank-you pages it also records how the page is scrolled and clicked; anything typed into a form is hidden from it.
• Advertising. We use the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Meta may connect this information to your Facebook or Instagram account and uses it underits own privacy policy.
• Following up with you. The platform that runs our forms, tour calendar, and chat window records the pages you view here. Before you contact us, that record is not tied to your name. Once you submit a form, book a tour, or start a chat, your earlier and later visits from that browser may be linked to the details you gave us, so we know what you were interested in when we follow up.
• Running the site. The providers that host and secure this site, supply its fonts, and play its videos receive your IP address and basic browser information when your browser loads their content, and may set cookies those features need to work.

Some of these companies, including Google and Meta, can recognize your browser across other websites and over time.

How we use your information

We use the details you give us to answer your question, send your pricing guide, schedule and confirm your tour, and — where you have asked for them — send planning and promotional messages about the estate.

We use the browsing information described above to see how the site is used and improve it, to measure and run our advertising, and — once you have contacted us — to understand what you were looking at so we can follow up well.

How to limit tracking

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; most browsers can also block third-party cookies altogether. The site will still work, although the chat window and tour calendar may not. You can also:

• install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out add-on;
• manage how Meta uses activity from other websites under “Your activity off Meta technologies” in your Facebook or Instagram settings;
• opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.

This site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” or similar signals sent by browsers.

How you opt in to text messages

Text messages are never sent unless you ask for them. You opt in by giving us your mobile number and ticking the box that consents to text messages — either in the chat window on this site or on our pricing guide request form. That box is separate and optional: you can ask for pricing, book a tour, or message us without agreeing to marketing texts, and consent to texts is never a condition of booking or of any purchase.

Text messages & how to stop them

If you opt in, we may send messages about your inquiry and your wedding planning, and — where you consented to marketing — occasional offers, event news, and updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them at once, or reply HELP for help. You can also call812.723.0600or emailevents@bc.blueberryhillestate.comand we will remove you.

We never sell or share your mobile information

No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive text messages, and the phone number you gave it with, are never shared with anyone outside Blueberry Hill Estate LLC.

Who else handles your information

The details you give us are handled by the service providers who run things for us — such as those that host this site and operate our forms, chat, scheduling, messaging, and phone line — and only so they can deliver the messages, bookings, and pages you asked for. They act on our instructions, are bound to keep your information confidential, and may not use it for their own purposes.

Separately, Google and Meta collect browsing information directly from your browser through the analytics and advertising tools described above, and may use it for their own purposes under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell the details you give us — your name, email address, phone number, or event information — to anyone. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Email

You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any message we send, or by replying and asking us to stop.

Seeing, correcting, or deleting your information

To review, correct, or delete what we hold about you — including the browsing history linked to your contact record — contact us using any of the details below and we will take care of it. Information Google and Meta have collected through their own tools is controlled by them; use the settings listed under “How to limit tracking.”

Children

This site is meant for adults planning weddings and events. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
